Another storm is now in full swing in Shetland, though winds only managed to get up to 72 mph today (the last storm afew weeks ago peaked at 103!)
Bad news for some people, but not for myself, as beachcombing in the next few days should bring in a new crop of driftwood.

Below are a few of the items that I made from driftwood collected after the last big storm -

This mirror and surround is constructed entirely from driftwood and stands about 28 inches high.
This will be treated with natural linseed oil over the next few days.


These candle sconces were made last week and are currently drying in the workshop after a coat of natural linseed oil, and will be polished up in the next few days.
